The Self-cultivation of the Noble Concubine Who Eats Melon

Before Feng Yi ascended to the throne, no one wanted to marry him- a prince with no sense of existence and no favour. After becoming Emperor, the harem was stuffed full with the daughters of important court officials. Seeing them hurt his eyes, dealing with them made him annoyed, and pampering them all felt as if he was dirtying his dragon body. He decided to choose a woman with a hot temper, who was shrewish, arrogant, domineering, and jealous, to enter the Palace so that she could banish all this garbage to the cold palace.

Song Yunzhao transmigrated into ancient times 14 years ago. She grew up sleazy and lived cautiously, just waiting for the plot to unfold. Then, she would transform into an arrogant, domineering, fierce, and jealous villainess, waiting to be defeated so that she could choose a husband and live a carefree life.

Later, Song Yunzhao looked at the Emperor, who was smiling at her indulgently, and said, “Zhaozhao, come here.” Song Yunzhao felt that the turn of events was far from good, and her feet went cold. The dog emperor had a gentle and soft expression, but his eyes were cold. It was obvious that he wanted to use her as a knife.

* to eat melon- to watch an entertaining spectacle from the sidelines or engage in gossip about it
