WTDWPK Chapter 51

Xiaoyu, Sit at the Bow of the Boat~

Song Yu meant what he said. For the next few days, he absolutely gave Fu Yuqian no chance to get close. After all, he was a cold, ruthless little kitty, and when it came to turning his face and pretending not to know someone, he was an expert.

He Ling only stayed for one day. At noon, after Song Yu had lunch with her, she boarded her private jet and left for the capital to look for her younger sister.

Song Yu even called his mom, who also liked He Ling very much and had always wanted to ask about her beauty regimen.

After hanging up, he looked at the WeChat messages Fu Yuqian had sent—line after line of flattering words. He even edited photos of his own pitiful face into stickers, with captions like: “Without Xiaoyu’s kisses, I can’t sleep.”

So childish.

But Song Yu’s lips still couldn’t help but curl up. Even though he’d already felt very happy before, now he felt even happier.

Another day after filming, Song Yu went as usual to the dressing room to remove his makeup. But Fu Yuqian, quick and sly, slipped in after him and shut the door. Since there were still others inside, Song Yu quickly shot him a look: “Teacher Fu, what are you doing?”

The makeup artist had long since noticed the two’s little secret. Covering her mouth with a smile, she said, “Oh, I suddenly remembered something, I’ll head out first. Teacher Song, remove your makeup on your own. If it’s too much, you can always ask Teacher Fu for help.”

Fu Yuqian rewarded her with a look of approval.

As for Song Yu’s assistant, he acted poorly, clutching his stomach: “Oh no, ge, my stomach hurts. I need the bathroom.”

Within ten seconds, the dressing room was empty except for Song Yu and Fu Yuqian.

Song Yu gave him a sideways glare. “Happy now?”

“I really know I was wrong.” Still dressed in his costume, Fu Yuqian’s hair was brushed back, showing off his deep, strikingly handsome face. With sword-like brows and starry eyes, he was impossible to look away from. Taking a few steps forward, he wrapped Song Yu in his arms, lowering his head to nuzzle against his neck. “Don’t ignore me.”

Song Yu wasn’t actually very angry anymore. After a few days, the irritation had already faded. He’d only been annoyed at how Fu Yuqian always seemed in total control, so he wanted to give him a hard time. Now, being held so tenderly, Song Yu relaxed against him. “If this happens again, the punishment time doubles.”

“Teacher Song, spare me. Let’s switch punishments.” Fu Yuqian kissed the side of his neck. “How about I make sure you feel happy every day instead, hmm?” As he spoke, his hand slid mischievously to Song Yu’s lower back.

“This is the dressing room—don’t be so reckless.” Song Yu was young, full of energy, like dry tinder ready to catch fire. Being touched so intimately, his breath was already unsteady. “W-wait until we’re back.”

Truthfully, he really did enjoy Fu Yuqian’s closeness. Even sleeping at night wasn’t as sweet without it.

Fu Yuqian chuckled low, sexy and teasing, his breath warm against Song Yu’s ear: “Guaranteed satisfaction.”

And once they were back, sure enough, Song Yu was thoroughly “served.” Fu Yuqian’s skill was still impeccable, leaving Song Yu feeling like he was floating, dazed, lost in bliss.

But when Fu Yuqian tried to go further, Song Yu felt pain. It wasn’t like the descriptions he’d secretly read in fanfics. Righteously and heartlessly, he called stop, saying Fu Yuqian’s technique was bad.

Fu Yuqian drew in a deep breath, forcing himself to hold back, and gently soothed him: “It won’t hurt much, and it’s only painful the first time. For me, just bear it a little, okay, baby?”

That “baby” made Song Yu’s heart tremble. He really felt like a treasured jewel. “Then let’s try again. But if it hurts too much, I won’t continue.”

“Alright.” Fu Yuqian hadn’t planned to have their first time here anyway—the place was too plain, unworthy of his treasure. But that didn’t stop him from helping him get used to it.

Afterward, Fu Yuqian’s movements became gentler, and he even managed to make Song Yu feel a little pleasure.

Later, after they’d showered again, Song Yu was curled up naked in Fu Yuqian’s arms, enjoying the embrace. Fu Yuqian asked softly:

“Baby, once we finish this drama and return, how about we live together?”

Song Yu instinctively wanted to refuse—living together? That was way too fast.

But Fu Yuqian explained, “You’ve accepted two dramas, plus variety shows, a single release. I’ve got dramas too, and in May I’ll release an album and hold a concert. In a whole year, we won’t have much time together. So, we need to seize every minute.”

Hearing that, Song Yu froze for a moment before realizing—back when he turned into a cat, he was with Fu Yuqian twenty-four hours a day, and Fu Yuqian had seemed like some idle wanderer. But in truth, he had deliberately reduced his workload for Song Yu’s sake.

Now that Song Yu was back to normal, his schedule was in full swing. Although Yin Lang hadn’t arranged as much as Xingyue used to, it was still plenty. Their work barely overlapped, which meant they really would be spending more time apart than together.

Song Yu wasn’t too happy about it, but they were still young. It was the time to fight for their careers, not wallow in love. So he didn’t overthink it and readily agreed: “Alright, I’ll move in once we’re back.” After all, they’d practically lived together before. Fu Yuqian could cook, had great living habits—living with him would be easy and comfortable.

“Mhm, thank you for being considerate, baby.” Fu Yuqian hugged him tighter, then added, “Come be my guest at my May concert. Let’s perform a dance together.”

Thinking about Fu Yuqian’s stage, Song Yu felt an itch too. He wanted to share the spotlight with him. “No problem. Just don’t blame me if I steal your thunder.”

“Fine. I’ll work hard to be Teacher Song’s background prop.”

Knowing he and Fu Yuqian would soon see less of each other, Song Yu cherished the filming days even more. Coincidentally, the plot had reached the part where Leng Yunlin and Fu Qingyu finally acknowledged their feelings. The way the two actors looked at each other in those scenes was so tender that the staff blushed and their hearts raced. It was just too sweet—watching them felt like witnessing love itself.

As for the bed scene Fu Yuqian had been waiting for, Director Guo Mao kept looking for the right time and finally scheduled it for the day before the wrap-up scene.

Unlike kiss scenes, bed scenes had to be filmed with a cleared set.

The Pisces Girls nearly died of frustration, biting holes in handkerchiefs. Why weren’t they the director? If they were Guo Mao, they could watch it live—see Fu Yuqian and Song Yu’s bodies with their own eyes!

Even Guo Mao had started to ship the couple a little. With Fu Yuqian and Song Yu’s looks, just seeing them together was a feast for the eyes. Even though they were both men, it was impossible to dislike it. After being cursed at by the Pisces Girls, he was still secretly delighted.

Both actors wore bright red wedding robes. The wedding scene had already been filmed—this was the wedding night.

Leng Yunlin gazed at Fu Qingyu’s peach-blossom beauty, all his usual coldness melting into tenderness. He lifted the nuptial wine and handed a cup over: “My love, shall we drink this together?”

Fu Qingyu’s cheeks reddened as he took it. They hooked arms and downed the wine. Before he could lower the cup, Leng Yunlin had already pulled him into his arms, pressing him down on the bed. One by one, he undid the layers of Fu Qingyu’s wedding robe. Fu Qingyu instinctively tried to shy away, but Leng Yunlin held him down: “Don’t move, I don’t want to hurt you.”

When both were down to their red silk underclothes, Leng Yunlin pulled the quilt over them, lowered his head to kiss, then trailed down to ear, neck, and lower still… Fu Qingyu bit his lip hard, his pale arms stark against the red bedding, but he couldn’t hold back the quickened sounds escaping him.

The scene was intoxicating and sensual—without any explicit movements, it still made hearts race.

The cameraman and lighting crew, usually machines without feelings, were struggling. Especially with Song Yu’s face—so beautiful it transcended gender—it almost bent them.

Behind the monitor, Guo Mao noticed Fu Yuqian’s cunning angles: most of Song Yu was hidden, even his exposed arm was tucked back under the quilt. Guo Mao clicked his tongue—what terrifying possessiveness. But since this scene would be heavily cut anyway, with only a few shots left in the final edit, he didn’t call stop. Once enough footage was captured, he wisely shifted the lens to the burning candles.

Taking advantage of the fact that voices would be dubbed later, Fu Yuqian’s hands under the blanket grew restless. Song Yu, afraid they’d have to reshoot, didn’t dare protest too much. He only shot him fierce little glares, warning not to go too far. But Fu Yuqian, shameless as ever, leaned close to whisper in his ear, “Baby, I’m hard.”

Feeling the heat against him, Song Yu nearly bit him—good lord, this salted duck egg had come to life.

Thankfully, Guo Mao finally called cut. Song Yu tried to scramble out, but Fu Yuqian held him down, turning to the director: “Director Guo, let us calm down a bit.”

Guo Mao grinned. “Alright, take your time.” Ah, this drama had no chance of not becoming a hit.

He packed up the equipment and left with the others.

Only then did Song Yu relax, pushing Fu Yuqian: “Get off me, quick.”

But Fu Yuqian didn’t move, pressing his weight down. “You look so handsome in red. When we get married, let’s wear traditional robes too.”

“You’re heavy—stop pressing me. Get up.” Song Yu struggled for breath, unable to shove him away, so he gave in. “Fine, fine, we’ll wear this.”

Fu Yuqian chuckled, kissed him, and after a while, they got up and dressed before heading out.

Outside, people were practically dying of curiosity. When Guo Mao came out, every eye went to the camera, itching to snatch it away and demand the footage. Some even wondered—did they really do it? After all, when passion runs high, losing control is normal, right? They were desperate to see, and why hadn’t Fu Yuqian and Song Yu come out yet… Could it be they weren’t done?! Men with marathon stamina really were something.

The Pisces Girls were nearly drowned in sugar that day.

Even though Song Yu came out later with a frosty face, and Fu Yuqian acted calm and unbothered as though keeping distance, it didn’t stop the shippers from swooning. This CP was simply too addictive.

But good days are always short. The next day, the final scene was shot, the wrap party held, and the filming was officially finished. Post-production would take over, and Fu Yuqian and Song Yu would each move on to their own schedules—no more time together for now.

Here’s the English translation of your excerpt:

At the banquet, Guo Mao had drunk quite a bit, but his mind was still clear. He gave Fu Yuqian and Song Yu a thumbs-up.
“Unlimited future, really. You two are truly blessed by the heavens—don’t waste it. Especially you, Song Yu. After two years on the small screen, honing your acting skills, you must head to the big screen. Only there can your full charm be shown.”

“Thank you, Director Guo.” Song Yu, with Fu Yuqian shielding him from drinks, hadn’t been forced to drink much. This past month of filming had been a truly magical experience—first acting in his cat form, then taking on the lead role as a human. It gave him a deeper understanding of acting and made him love the craft even more.

But the esports drama would start filming in late May. Through April and early May, he had to run press events, shoot endorsement ads, with maybe only two days of rest in between. Fu Yuqian, meanwhile, was producing his album, appearing on shows, preparing for his concert. Both were very busy.

The Pisces Girls’ eyes grew red. This whole shoot hadn’t felt tiring at all, because most of Fu Yuqian and Song Yu’s scenes were done in a single take. There was rarely overtime or reshoots. In their free moments, Song Yu even bought them snacks—low-fat yet delicious. He was so thoughtful.

They had asked Fu Yuqian and Song Yu for signed photos. Once they got them, they hugged the autographs as if they were treasures, whispering, “We never told anyone. We’ll wait for you two to announce it officially. Stay happy forever—Pisces Aoli Give!”

Song Yu was stunned for a moment, then smiled. “Thank you.”

That smile dazzled the Pisces Girls. They didn’t dare look any longer, fleeing red-faced. Watching their retreating backs, Song Yu suddenly felt—his fans truly wanted him to be happy.

And his happiness was Fu Yuqian.

They left the film city in the afternoon. Once home, Song Yu first visited his mom, and there he saw Yi Yi, who had put on more weight, and His Majesty, still as domineering as ever. Song Yu was shocked.
“Yi Yi, how did you get fat again?!”

Yi Yi had been happy to see him, but that greeting was a heavy blow. Enraged, he swiped Song Yu’s ankle with his paw. “Daddy is mean! I’m not fat, meow!”

“Yi Yi, dare you step on a scale?” Song Yu said with grief. “I worked so hard to slim you down. Won’t His Majesty despise you like this?”

Struck by this soul-crushing question, Yi Yi looked worried. He turned to meow at His Majesty, “Will you dislike me for being fat, meow?”

His Majesty replied with a low meow.

Yi Yi immediately puffed up again. “His Majesty says I’m still the cutest, even if I’m fat, meow!”

Song Yu caught the loophole instantly. “So His Majesty does think you’re fat.”

Yi Yi felt as if struck by lightning. He pounced on His Majesty, clawing away. “You bad meow! How dare you call me fat!”

His Majesty narrowed his eyes, shooting Song Yu a murderous glare. Fu Yuqian, standing by Song Yu’s side, met that gaze head-on.

Song Yu couldn’t stop laughing. He scooped up Yi Yi and pinched his tail. “You need to work out and lose weight.”

Yi Yi struggled frantically, even begging Fu Yuqian for help. “I don’t want to, meow! Servant, save me—”

Fu Yuqian didn’t understand the words, but he could guess. He shook his head. “In this house, Xiao Yu has the final say.”

Yi Yi instantly deflated, letting out a sigh. Life was hard; even cats sighed. His Majesty walked over to groom Yi Yi, only to get kicked away with a paw.

Mama Song watched them all with a smile. Seeing the genuine happiness on Song Yu’s face, she felt content too. She even began to consider Lin’s advice—she was only in her early forties, with much life still ahead. She couldn’t remain trapped in past sorrows forever. It was time to be brave and move forward.

Song Yu had been wondering how to tell his mother about living with Fu Yuqian. But Mama Song spoiled the surprise:
“Xiao Fu already had someone move your things over.”

Song Yu: “…” He wanted to scratch Fu Yuqian to death!

In the end, though, he carried His Majesty and Yi Yi and followed Fu Yuqian back to his villa.

As soon as they entered, the curtains automatically drew shut. Then Fu Yuqian suddenly scooped Song Yu into his arms and strode toward the bathroom. Song Yu was startled. Was it going to be the real deal tonight?
