“Yeah. Don’t worry. I’ll pull the back tooth so it won’t be visible.”

As Heewoon tried to step back to avoid the oncoming Kangwoo, he was grabbed by the collar and thrown onto the sofa. As Kangwoo straddled him and pinned Heewoon’s arms with his knees, Heewoon could only stare blankly at the pliers in his hand.

Kangwoo’s other hand slipped into his mouth and pressed down on his lower teeth. He stared into his gaping mouth for a long moment and muttered

Your teeth are small. After pressing down on the back of the front tooth and the molar, Kangwoo shoved the pliers into his mouth. The metal rattled and scraped across his teeth. A cold sensation struck the flesh on the inside of his cheek.

“Don’t move. It’ll be hard to pull if you move.”

Heewoon was stunned, and only regained his senses when the pliers clamped down fully on his tooth. It felt like half of his tooth had already been pulled out.

“Aaack! Aack!”

Heewoon screamed with his eyes wide open. The liquid that kept trickling down the back of his throat was undoubtedly blood.

“Ha. I haven’t pulled it out yet.”

Looking down at Heewoon’s agonized face, who was acting as if his tooth had already pulled out, Kangwoo spoke as if he found him ridiculous.

His grip on Heewoon’s jaw tightened. A ragged gasp escaped Heewoon’s mouth and nose.

“Ughhh, heok. No… I don’t want this. D-Dont. Please, Kangwoo.”

“I’m only pulling one. Don’t make it difficult, just stay still.”

With the fluorescent light casting a shadow, Seo Kangwoo seemed like a demon. He was seriously planning to pull out Heewoon’s actual tooth without anesthesia. Overwhelmed with fear, Heewoon struggled and screamed.

“Aaack-! Aack-!”

With the strength he found from somewhere inside him, he overcame the strength of Kangwoo’s grip on his chin and shook his head away. It was a desperate struggle.

Because of that, his lips hit the misaligned pliers and started bleeding. When Kangwoo placed the pliers on top of Heewoon’s head, Heewoon was still screaming incoherently.

“Hey.”

A large hand forcefully covered Heewoon’s mouth and nose.

“Ooomph…!”

With his eyes wide open, Heewoon saw Kangwoo’s face getting closer. His bloodshot eyes shook uncontrollably. Kangwoo’s chest puffed roughly as he sat down.

“Stay still.”

The chilling voice pierced Heewoon’s ears. Heewoon stopped struggling. Even his rough breathing came to a halt.

Their eyes locked onto each other, and Kangwoo’s gaze completely consumed Heewoon. Something bloomed within Kangwoo’s pupils, giving off an ominous aura.

“If not, I wonder what I might do.”

Kangwoo’s murderous spirit and madness pricked Heewoon’s skin. Something like a stain or remnant, left behind by people who have killed.

The hand clamped over his mouth slowly withdrew.

“I need to get some tape.”

Until Kangwoo got off of him, Heewoon remained frozen. His whole body was limp. If Seo Kangwoo came back with tape to bind him, he would subjected to terrible torture. Just like what had happened with that man in the abandoned factory.

At that moment, Heewoon rolled off the sofa as if collapsing downward. His knees hit the floor with a thud. He crawled towards Kangwoo’s thigh in a frenzy, pulling on it desperately.

Looking down at Heewoon clinging to his leg, Kangwoo let out a hollow laugh.

“K-Kangwoo. Just give me a chance. I’ll really listen to you. You don’t have to pull my tooth… I-I’ll really listen.”

Despite the cold gaze, Heewoon didn’t release his grip on Kangwoo’s leg.

“Please. I-I was wrong, Kangwoo. If you pull my tooth without anesthesia, I might just die.”

“I haven’t killed once.”

It meant he had done it several times before. Heewoon’s spine shivered.

“I-I’m going to die. I’ll die for real. I-I don’t like getting hurt… I’ll go into shock.”

Kangwoo frowned down at Heewoon, who was clinging to his leg, tears streaming down his face.

“Hic… I was wrong…. Please spare me…. Kangwoo.”

Heewoon looked like he was going to chew his tongue from all the sobbing. Kangwoo felt something damp on his foot. He looked down and saw a round wet spot on Heewoon’s crotch. It looked like he had peed a little earlier.

“Hicc… Without these teeth, it will be hard to eat food…”

“Who’s pulling them all out?”

“Y-You haven’t even disinfected…”

Kangwoo’s expression became strange as he looked down at Heewoon, who was shaking and sobbing. He rubbed his forehead and called out to Heewoon.

“Woo Heewoon.”

Heewoon looked up at the low voice, his face covered in tears and snot, his bangs wet as if he had washed his face because of how much he’d broken out in a cold sweat in that short time.

“Let go.”

At the short command, Heewoon’s grip on Kangwoo’s pants tightened and then gradually loosened. Kangwoo stared coldly at Heewoon’s wet face. Heewoon looked like he was teetering on the edge of a cliff.

Kangwoo’s gaze then landed on the pliers on the sofa.

“Kangwoo, Kangwoo, please…”

His gaze shifted downward again. Heewoon’s wet eyes glistened. For a man of twenty-six, he looked very young while crying.

Kangwoo looked down at Heewoon, as if contemplating, and mumbled.

“If I let you go easily like this, you might do this again…”

“No. I won’t. Seriously. I won’t even lie anymore.”

Heewoon’s eyes widened in denial, and he kept squirming as if he wanted to grab hold of Kangwoo’s pants. His slender fingers twitched, too. Kangwoo paused for a moment, then asked as if testing the waters.

“Are you sure?”

Quickly raising his head and locking eyes with Kangwoo, Heewoon nodded several times. A few tears fell to the floor.

With a sigh, Kangwoo walked past Heewoon and plopped down on the sofa. As he leaned against the backrest, a sound like wind escaping a balloon came from the soft sofa.

Heewoon followed him with his eyes.

Is it over?

Seo Kangwoo’s expression seemed to have softened slightly. The pliers were now not near his hand but a little further away. Maybe he wouldn’t pull his tooth out.

Feeling a bit relieved, Heewoon finally noticed that his crotch was wet. Shame rushed over him belatedly. He tried to cover himself with his top, but Seo Kangwoo spoke.

“Take off your clothes and come here.”

Heewoon moved quickly. He discarded his jacket and T-shirt in one go. Then, he hesitated briefly before taking off his wet-spotted pants and even wetter underwear. He also removed his socks like usual and stood in front of Kangwoo.

His body kept trembling because he didn’t know what Seo Kangwoo was going to do. The moderately warm air felt painfully chilly.

“Get on your knees.”

Without any hesitation, Heewoon knelt down and wiped his tears away with the back of his hand. Kangwoo looked at Heewoon’s scrunched eyelashes and said.

“Sunbae is so stupid, so I don’t think you’ll remember unless I make it clear….”

Heewoon’s eyes widened. His fearful pupils stared up at Kangwoo. His expression changed as he realized what Kangwoo was imagining.
