“As a thank-you, let’s have a meal together sometime and I’ll help you with your work. I’m hitting a wall on some things.”
“Okay.”
As Kairi smiled at her, Aiko shrugged and muttered, “Though I’m not sure if you would really understand…” Then she leant in a little closer and asked in a low voice, “Hey, is your brother sick or something?”
Kairi was startled by the mention of Tasuku.
“…No. What made you ask that all of a sudden?”
“Rekka has been down lately. Apparently the person in charge, Tsubasa, has been absent for about two weeks. They can’t reach him on his cell phone either.”
‘Tsubasa’ – Tasuku has been at home every night for the past two weeks. In other words, he has been taking a break from his host club work.
During the times when Kairi is at work, Tasuku does go out. But he is sure to be home at night.
Every day, Kairi agonises over whether he should come home or not.
Yet despite the anguish, there are several reasons why he ultimately does return home.
The first is the sense of guilt from having the truth of Tasuku’s prostitution revealed. Even though he didn’t know, as the elder brother who has been placing so much burden on his younger sibling, he cannot simply run away.
The second is that he doesn’t want Tasuku to experience that pitiful, heartbreaking feeling of being abandoned by a family member again.
And the third reason is – he doesn’t want to be left alone either, separated from his only family member.
At 25 years old, no matter how much unforgivable guilt he had, it was strange for him to remain by his brother’s side and accept his twisted desires.
――That’s right. It’s not just Tasuku who is strange. I am too.
Out of the past two weeks, there were 8 days when Kairi fully accepted Tasuku. On the days he didn’t go that far, they still engaged in lewd acts with their hands and mouths. As for kisses, they’ve lost count of how many times they’ve done it.
Since he’s accepting a male organ in a place not meant for that, the physical burden on his body is immense. Psychologically as well, there’s an ever-mounting sense of urgency that it’s becoming irreversible.
Yet Tasuku’s lovemaking skills are remarkably deft. No matter how much Kairi tries to resist, it brings a melting heat. However, that heat never transforms into clear pleasure, and Kairi’s dick remains flaccid. This only further agitates Tasuku, driving him to endless acts.
At first, Kairi thought his body’s lack of reaction was because his reason was restraining him. But upon closer inspection, he realised his complete inability to get aroused started after Tasuku had told him the truth about his prostitution.
In fact, he couldn’t forget the kisses Tasuku gave him. He even went so far as to try to get Naofumi to help him forget.
The forbidden pleasure did indeed sprout within Kairi once.
But perhaps it being frozen over by his guilt towards his brother is a salvation.
Otherwise, by now he might have been completely immersed in sex with his own brother.
“Yougoshi?”
Kairi had gotten so lost in his own inner thoughts that he had forgotten Aiko was still sitting next to him.
With a strong blink, he brought his focus back to the surface.
“What is it?”
“Hey, have you ever done drugs? Like marijuana or LSD?”
Kairi couldn’t quite grasp where this conversation was heading.
“No, I haven’t. I hate drugs.”
Ever since his brother was injected with drugs by the neighbour girl, Kairi has consistently detested drugs.
The terror of that time was searing. He was the one who pulled the needle that was still stuck in his brother’s thin arm. His temple veins were swelling as if they would burst, his body temperature rising rapidly, and Kairi feared he might die. And his brother became like a small wild animal after that.
“I’ve done it twice, you know. Back in college, I was invited by a friend to a trance party, and without really understanding, I ended up trying acid.”
“Acid?”
“LSD. It’s a small piece of paper with a design printed on it, soaked in the drug. You just put it in your mouth. It was such a crazy experience. I felt like I was merging with the world, like I understood everything…”
She trailed off, seeing the troubled look on Kairi’s face.
“But I didn’t get hooked or anything.”
Drugs are easily available at clubs in Shibuya and Daikanyama. It wouldn’t be strange if someone who goes out partying occasionally tried it once or twice. Still, Kairi couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows whenever the topic of drugs came up – He just has a strong aversion to it.
“But you must have had a bad trip the second time, right?”
“Yeah, the second time I tried it, I had a really intense bad trip. The ground was sprouting hands that were grabbing at me. I drank a ton of water to flush it out of my system, and then I realised that even the amazing first experience was just an illusion created by the drug. It just seemed so ridiculous after that.”
“I’m glad you realised how ridiculous it is. It’s best not to touch that stuff at all.”
“I guess someone like me who enjoys succeeding in a rule-based world through my own efforts isn’t really the type to be drawn to drugs. I hadn’t had anything to do with them since then. But just the other day, I almost got sold some at ‘Blossom’.”
Kairi’s expression changed immediately.
“What do you mean, at ‘Blossom’?”
Aiko raises her index finger in front of her glossy lips, cautioning him to keep his voice down.
“I went there with Rekka. Since ‘Tsubasa’ wasn’t around, another host was assigned to accompany us. But while Rekka was in the restroom, this host tried to sell me ecstasy.”
“Ecstasy?”
“It’s called a ‘love drug’ – a tablet.”
“So the host was trying to sell drugs to a customer?”
“Yeah. But even if it’s at a busy club, for a host to be a drug dealer is really sketchy. And to try to sell to a regular customer like me, that’s just reckless. They must be doing drug dealing on an organisational level there. And you know, drug dealers often end up becoming addicts themselves.”
