Backstage at the concert.
This wasn’t the Gu Group’s first concert, and the director’s team they hired was already well-coordinated with them. After arriving in C City two days prior, they had gone through two full rehearsals on stage: one for blocking and one full run-through of the concert in costume and makeup.
Everything was proceeding in a busy yet orderly fashion.
The opening number was the title track from their new album—a lively, cute, and youthful song. The fans, holding their centrally controlled lightsticks, sang along, and the atmosphere quickly heated up. After the song ended, Yan Qi led the group in introducing themselves and greeting the fans.
“Hello, everyone!” Yan Qi adjusted her headset microphone, her panting breath amplified. She took a step forward. “I am your limited half-sugar, The Notes’ Yan Qi.”
This time, they had agreed to use their solo performance songs for their self-introductions.
“The Captain is half-sugar, so I’ll be full-sugar.” Zhou Shichen lightly bumped Yan Qi’s shoulder, drawing a series of screams from the audience before she smiled and said, “Hello, everyone! I am the great artist—” She winked. “The Notes’ Zhou Shichen~”
