On Monday, an announcement suddenly exploded on social media—#CastAnnouncement Little Feet, Big Adventure#

Four silhouette posters were released. Apart from sharp-eyed fans who could guess a thing or two, no one could tell who they were. The comment section was in an uproar. Everyone said the production team was just teasing; an announcement without showing a single face.

The positioning of  Little Feet, Big Adventure was different from other kids’ shows. Its aim was to provide a fun and educational variety show for the young guests by combining entertainment with learning. The reason such a faceless announcement could generate so much buzz was, of course, thanks to financial backing behind the scenes. But more importantly, it was because of the production team’s track record.

The production team had over a decade of experience in creating variety shows. Their content was high-quality and had even won a Best Variety Show award. The production team was very strict in controlling every aspect of the show. Games the guests would play were tested by staff in advance. All locations and facilities were also scouted by staff beforehand to prevent any accidents. The contracts given to the guests clearly outlined the safety regulations.

That was why this production team had such a good reputation. Netizens joked that even a celebrity with a scandal-ridden past could be rehabilitated and regain popularity on their show. And what did any of this online buzz have to do with a three-year-old? Su Youli only knew that he was going on an adventure with his eldest brother. He had been in a state of excitement for days. At seven in the morning, the production team arrived by shuttle bus at the entrance of the Shen family’s mansion.

The butler opened the door, smiling. “The eldest young master has already gone to wake the little young master.”

The executive director had seen plenty of grand occasions and, even though this was his first time inside the top-tier, wealthy Shen family home in Beicheng, he remained composed.

“No problem. Our crew needs to install some cameras. If there are any areas that are inconvenient, please let us know directly.”

The butler had known for days that people were coming to film and wasn’t surprised. After the production team installed the cameras, he inspected each one, confirmed there were no issues, and then went upstairs to call them. In other families, the production team, eager for footage, would have already climbed upstairs with their cameras, practically shoving them in faces to capture Shen Yan’s makeup-free morning look—guaranteed to generate buzz for the pilot episode.

Shen Yan had slept with the little one last night and hadn’t woken up yet. Because he knew the next day would be the start of his adventure as a little adventurer, Su Youli had begged Shen Lin to play several exploration games with him, like having Second Brother hide in a very dark place for him to find. They played until ten o’clock. Then an overseas call came in. Su Youli was just about to brush his teeth when he heard his two fathers’ voices, put down his little toothbrush, and rushed out.

Su Siwen and Qin Kun weren’t very worried when they heard Youyou was going on a kids’ show. They even encouraged the little one to get along well with the other children. The call lasted until after eleven. By the time Su Youli had washed up and gotten into bed, it was nearly twelve. So, for the first time, Su Youli slept in. With Shen Yan’s permission, the production team quietly carried their cameras, tripods, and other equipment up to the second floor.

*Knock, knock.*

Shen Yan opened the door. Facing the camera, he was perfectly at ease, a faint smile on his lips. “Good morning.”

Staff member: “Good morning, Shen Laoshi. Is the little one awake yet? We need to put on your microphones.”

Little Feet, Big Adventure adopted a live-streaming format. With the guests’ identities kept secret, netizens had been waiting in front of their screens early, eager to find out.

As soon as Shen Yan appeared in front of the camera, bare-faced and more natural than natural, the barrage was instantly flooded with “Good morning, hubby~”

“Youyou isn’t up yet. I’ll go get him.”

Shen Yan stepped aside, allowing two staff members to follow him in.

As seasoned kids’ show staff, they instinctively stood by the door, not venturing further inside. The cameraman stood still, panning over the children’s room before focusing the lens on the children’s bed.

By the bedside, Shen Yan’s voice was gentle. He bent down and patted the little one’s bottom lightly. “Youyou, time to get up.”

[What year is this? Tell me this gentle man is Shen Yan???]

[Oh my god, Shen Yingdi is so soft, ahhhhhh]

[Is that his little brother in bed? Why hasn’t the official account announced the child’s identity yet?]

[As far as I know, Shen Yan only has one sixteen-year-old brother. The one in bed is clearly under four.]

[Whoa, whoa, whoa, could it be @#¥#@]

[Could it be what? Don’t leave us hanging!]

[I can’t type those words… I got kicked out of the stream…]

In an instant, the topic of exactly what relationship Shen Yan had with this little boy became a hotly debated subject among netizens. The little one in bed smacked his lips, furrowed his small brows, and rolled over. And it was that very movement that finally gave the camera a chance to capture the little one’s face.

The little one was wrapped in pale yellow bedding, lying on his side, his small hands clutching a long-eared gray bunny. As the camera zoomed in, the first thing that caught people’s attention were the little one’s impossibly long eyelashes—black and long, just like a doll. His mouth was small and rosy, his nose pert and upturned. On his forehead were fluffy, slightly curly wisps of hair. His arms and legs were short. He slept peacefully.

An angel, if ever there was one. A child like this seemed naturally drawn to the camera. The cameraman forgot everything else, fixing the lens directly on the sleeping little one.

[What kind of adorable creature is this~~~]

[Beautiful baby, let jiejie squish your little cheeks!!!]

[So cute, so cute, so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!]

[Baby, what color sack do you like? Jiejie is coming for you!!!]

[Baby, you’re so cute, ahhhh. Starting today, this is MY baby!]

[So what’s the baby’s name???]

[Shen Yan, are you selling? (drooling.jpg)]

[Hahaha, he’s 99% new, not for sale! (facepalm)]

A single shot of Su Youli sleeping instantly added 100,000 followers to the livestream.

“Youyou, time to get up. We’re going to be little adventurers!” Shen Yan bent down and picked up the little one.

Su Youli rested his head on Shen Yan’s shoulder. So sleepy. But he was going to be a little adventurer! He couldn’t sleep in! After lying there for a while, the little one finally forced himself awake.

“…Da-ge, Youyou wants to go on an adventure~” the little one said in his sleepy, milky voice.

Shen Yan lifted him with one arm and turned to carry him to wash up. Halfway there, Shen Yan patted his little bottom and had him look toward the door.

“Say hello to the uncles and aunties.”

Forgetting to be scared, Su Youli raised his little fist and waved at the uncles and aunties. His eyes were already closing again as he said in a tiny voice, “Good morning, uncles and aunties~”

Soft and squishy, like a little cream puff. The production team’s hearts melted. Getting to film such an adorable, non-fussy child early in the morning made their job much easier. Their affection for the little one kept increasing. If not for knowing the little one was shy around strangers, they would have already rushed into the bathroom to film Su Youli washing up.

When Su Youli came out after washing up, Shen Yan was still carrying him. Unlike when he had politely greeted everyone earlier, now that he was fully awake, seeing several strangers in the room made him scared. Shen Yan was rarely the recipient of such clinginess, and he wished the little one would be like this all day.
