“Shixiong, you’re awake?” His eyes curved in a smile, as if he hadn’t noticed Mi Dao’s earlier actions.

 

Mi Dao didn’t respond or look at him; he simply stood there.

 

Wei Yao Shuo didn’t mind; he closed the door behind him. “Your complexion doesn’t look good. Why don’t you rest a bit more?” 

 

As he spoke, he walked closer to Mi Dao and reached out as if to embrace him.

 

According to the personality of Ye Wushang in the script, the prideful character could never accept being forced by his younger brother, whom he had watched grow up.

 

“Don’t touch me.” Mi Dao took a step back, his body radiating detachment.

 

Wei Yao Shuo’s eyes dimmed for a moment, but then softened again. He smiled gently and said, “Alright, you should drink your medicine first. I’ve let it cool for a bit, so it shouldn’t be too hot.”

 

With that, Wei Yao Shuo approached Mi Dao, holding the bowl in front of him. When he saw that Mi Dao had no intention of taking it, he sighed softly, adopting a tone laced with tenderness. “Don’t be afraid, the medicine isn’t bitter. I’ve tasted it for you. You’re still seriously injured; it’s best to drink some spiritual medicine. Let me feed you—”

 

Wei Yao Shuo scooped some medicine with a spoon, blowing gently on it, his movements filled with patience.

As he spoke, he gently pressed his lips to the injured area.

 

Mi Dao was taken aback and struggled to pull his hand back, but he couldn’t match Wei Yao Shuo’s strength. He shouted angrily, “Let go of me!”

 

Unable to escape, Mi Dao slapped at Wei Yao Shuo. Wei Yao Shuo reacted quickly, easily dodging and pulling Mi Dao into an embrace.

 

“If you don’t want to drink, then we won’t. Promise me, don’t get hurt again, alright?” Wei Yao Shuo’s deep voice, filled with warmth, brushed against Mi Dao’s ear, making his ears flush.

 

Mi Dao didn’t realize when Wei Yao Shuo had made his move; by the time he came to his senses, he found himself firmly held, unable to move.

 

He angrily exclaimed, “Wei Yao Shuo! Let go of me!”

 

Wei Yao Shuo waved his hand, clearing the medicine stains on both of them and the broken pieces on the floor. He felt the warmth of the person in his arms and smiled. Like a child who had received a long-desired gift, he tightened his hold on Mi Dao and teasingly whispered in his ear, “I won’t let go—never.”

 

“You—” Mi Dao gritted his teeth in anger, “Wei Yao Shuo!”

 

“Don’t be angry, it’s all my fault.” Wei Yao Shuo kept holding him, gently stroking the back of Mi Dao’s head. His warm fingertips caressed Mi Dao’s ear, sending shivers down his spine.

 

The lingering aftereffects of last night still remained on Mi Dao, and a light touch ignited them again. He trembled, his legs going weak, unable to utter a word, his ears burning.

 

Noticing Mi Dao was unsteady, Wei Yao Shuo wrapped his arms around his waist, unable to suppress a smile. He leaned close to Mi Dao’s ear, his husky voice low, “Yesterday was all my fault. I knew you were seriously injured and still forced you…”

 

After hearing this, Mi Dao frantically shook his head in his mind. 

 

Not forced! Not forced! Even if it was forced, he wouldn’t mind doing it again!

 

System: “…”

 

Wei Yao Shuo sensed the stiffness in Mi Dao’s body, his eyes filled with playful amusement as he deliberately sucked on Mi Dao’s earlobe and softly asked, “So, does it still hurt down there, Shixiong?”

 

Mi Dao instantly turned bright red, unsure if it was from anger or embarrassment, his entire body trembling.

 

Seeing Mi Dao shiver in his embrace, Wei Yao Shuo kissed his forehead and gently reassured him, “Don’t be angry, Shixiong. If you get upset and hurt yourself, I’ll be heartbroken.”

 

Mi Dao glared at him fiercely, forcing out two words through gritted teeth, “Beast!”

 

Wei Yao Shuo smiled but didn’t respond, instead reaching out to caress Mi Dao’s cheek, tracing his thumb over those eyes that shone even brighter from anger.

 

In those dark eyes, Wei Yao Shuo saw his own reflection.

 

He couldn’t help but lean in closer, gazing at Mi Dao with infatuation. “Shixiong’s eyes are truly beautiful… I like it when you look at me like this.”

 

Hearing this, Mi Dao closed his eyes.

 

Wei Yao Shuo paused for a moment, furrowing his brow, feeling a twinge of reluctance.

 

He cupped Mi Dao’s face and kissed his eyelids, saying, “Shixiong, open your eyes.”

 

Mi Dao didn’t move, so Wei Yao Shuo kissed him again: “Look at me.”

 

With each kiss, Wei Yao Shuo made a request. Mi Dao allowed him to act as he wished, keeping his eyes shut and remaining unresponsive.

 

Wei Yao Shuo grew frustrated and bit down hard on Mi Dao’s lips.

 

It was a deep kiss, one that felt like drowning.

 

Only when Wei Yao Shuo finally stopped did Mi Dao get a chance to catch his breath and open his eyes, glaring at him.

 

Seeing Mi Dao panting, Wei Yao Shuo’s mood brightened. He lowered his head to kiss Mi Dao’s reddened lips again, holding him tightly and murmuring, “Shixiong, I really miss you…”

 

Mi Dao allowed Wei Yao Shuo to embrace him, gradually calming down.

 

He closed his eyes again and said, “Let me go, Ah Shuo…”

 

Wei Yao Shuo raised his hand, gently stroking Mi Dao’s hair, seriously savoring his presence.

 

His gaze darkened, and his voice dropped to a hoarse whisper, like a lover’s murmur. “No.”

 

This was the one thing he wouldn’t allow.

 

For ten years, since the day he lost him, he had been searching frantically.

 

By any means necessary, at any cost, no matter how heinous, no matter the consequences.

 

Even if he was ultimately consumed by the flames of hell, he would find him, trap him, possess him.

 

To keep him—his only salvation in this life.

 

The obsessive light in his eyes turned blood-red.

 

Those were the eyes of a demon.
