Extra 10: Those Things

1.

After returning from their honeymoon, Fang Fengzhi found out he was pregnant with their second child. The two of them had wanted another child for a while, and with Min Hezhen getting older, they worried that a larger age gap might prevent the children from being close; therefore, they hadn’t used protection once during their honeymoon.

A short while later, a check-up revealed it was actually twins. While Fang Fengzhi was away, Min Zhi immediately asked the doctor if the pregnancy could be terminated. Carrying two children would undoubtedly be much harder than carrying one, and he couldn’t bear to see him suffer.

Since it was still early, a termination was possible, but Fang Fengzhi refused.

In the end, Min Zhi yielded to Fang Fengzhi’s wishes, and they kept the babies.

2.

Although he was carrying two this time, Fang Fengzhi felt it wasn’t as difficult as the first pregnancy; at least, he rarely experienced morning sickness.

However, the late stage of the pregnancy became troublesome. His belly was so large and heavy that even walking a few steps was exhausting; he couldn’t lie flat to sleep at night, or he would lose his breath. His breasts felt very swollen, his bladder was compressed to the point where he couldn’t hold his urine at all, and his libido was very high.

Whenever the itching became unbearable and fluids kept leaking, Min Zhi would have him lie on his side and take him. Once Fang Fengzhi reached a state of relaxation from the pleasure, he would begin to lose control of his bladder after climaxing. It wasn’t a forceful spray, but a steady stream that he simply couldn’t control.

Since Min Zhi had intimidated him back when he was pregnant with Zhenzhen, he no longer felt ashamed. After all, there was no version of himself that Min Zhi hadn’t seen. He would simply pout and watch as Min Zhi pulled away the absorbent pad beneath him and washed his backside.

3.

Fang Fengzhi truly suffered a great deal while giving birth to the two children, so Min Zhi underwent a vasectomy afterward. This way, they no longer had to take any contraceptive measures.

4.

4.

Min Zhi had a fetish that Fang Fengzhi couldn’t quite understand: he liked to hit him.

It wasn’t domestic violence, Min Zhi couldn’t even bring himself to scold his wife, let alone abuse him.

He simply enjoyed slapping Fang Fengzhi’s face, his breasts, or his buttocks with varying degrees of force from time to time. The buttocks were where the pain was most felt, and Min Zhi especially loved hitting him there.

He used his hands most of the time by placing Fang Fengzhi across his lap like he was disciplining a naughty child. Occasionally, he would use a specialized paddle or a belt. At first, Fang Fengzhi only felt pain and found it unacceptable, but he gradually began to derive pleasure from it. Once, he even climaxed on Min Zhi’s lap without any penetration at all.

To Fang Fengzhi, this was the second most embarrassing thing after his incontinence.

5.

During the Lunar New Year, the family of five returned to the small town to visit Fang Fengzhi’s father.

Since it wasn’t far from Fu Baiqi’s home, they naturally ran into members of the Fu family, including Fu Baiqi’s aunt and his younger cousins.

The group recognized Min Zhi by his side instantly. Seeing the children the two of them were carrying, their faces turned purple with rage yet they didn’t dare say a word. Only Fu Yan, who had never liked him, stared at him with a flushed face, though seemingly without any ill intent.

Fang Fengzhi gave them a polite nod and left with Min Zhi.

Later, he heard from a friend living next door to the Fu family that Fu Baiqi had a massive row with his family one night. Apparently, since the divorce, his parents had been constantly setting him up on blind dates, but he hadn’t attended a single one. That day, they had even called back his first love, hoping to set them up. Driven to the edge by his parents’ pressure, Fu Baiqi snapped in the middle of the courtyard: “I’ll consider those things once Fang Fengzhi gets a divorce.” The implication behind those words was self-evident.

His first love was never seen again after that.

Hearing this, Fang Fengzhi didn’t say anything. Just then, Min Zhi arrived to pick him up; he then said goodbye to his friend and left with his husband.

6.

Min Zhi had always felt a strong aversion toward people who cried easily. Whether they were Alpha or Omega, he would keep a wide berth from anyone who shed tears over a few harsh words, finding them nothing but a nuisance.

Fang Fengzhi was the sole exception.

However, his son, Min Hezhen, cried constantly; his tears flowed at the slightest provocation, and he wailed loudly as he wept as well. It was one thing when he was a toddler, but even at the age of eight, he still had this bad habit; even his younger siblings didn’t cry as much as he did. To force him out of the habit, Min Zhi would sharpen his gaze whenever he saw the boy start to pout. Terrified, Min Hezhen wouldn’t even dare to breathe, instead diving into Fang Fengzhi’s arms to sob and leak tears.

Over time, Min Hezhen’s temperamental habit improved significantly; at the very least, he stopped wailing and would instead just shed tears silently in his mother’s embrace.

When he turned sixteen, he went through his first heartbreak and came home with a face as cold as ice. His younger siblings sensed something was wrong and asked what had happened, but he remained silent, locking himself in his room and skipping dinner.

It wasn’t until Fang Fengzhi returned home that evening and heard about the situation that he went upstairs and knocked on Min Hezhen’s door. The boy was doing his homework by the light of a desk lamp, though his expression remained cold. Fang Fengzhi assumed he’d had a conflict with a classmate and pulled up a chair to sit beside him: “Zhenzhen, are you unhappy?”

The moment the words left his mouth, Min Hezhen let out a loud wail before slumping over his desk as tears flooded everywhere. Feeling both helpless and amused, Fang Fengzhi patted his back to comfort him.

As it turned out, some innate habits can never be changed.

7.

Min Helu and Fang Ze looked strikingly alike and shared similar temperaments, they were quiet, composed, and not given to much talking.

Min Zhi had always believed the two children had inherited Fang Fengzhi’s personality, but as they grew older, their true natures became increasingly prominent.

They were bold, the kind of bold that was completely reckless regarding consequences.

When Min Hezhen was in elementary school, he would still clamor to sleep with his father after watching a horror movie, but these two weren’t afraid at all; they even refused when Fang Fengzhi offered to stay with them.

Later, in middle school, the two appeared to have good grades and stay out of trouble, until Fang Fengzhi caught Fang Ze sneaking his father’s car keys for a joyride and discovered that Min Helu was involved in school fights just as brutal as Min Hezhen’s.

Fang Fengzhi gave them a stern scolding, and Min Zhi pulled them into the study for a talk. They obediently nodded and agreed with their words.

A period of time passed, and Min Zhi and Fang Fengzhi were once again called to the school by the teacher.

Seeing the injuries on his daughter and son, reflecting on how children stop listening as they grow, and realizing they would eventually leave him, Fang Fengzhi couldn’t help but shed tears of anguish.

In all their years of growing up, they had never seen their mother cry. The three children were thrown into a frantic mess until their father kicked them out. When their mother finally emerged, his eyes were still swollen.

From then on, they finally became a bit more obedient.

As it turned out, educating children really does require a bit of the “tragic hero” tactic.
