Chapter 1:  愚人一无所有（一）

Layers upon layers were put on, and in spite of being in the polar region, fine sweat still seeped out of Xu Jiu’s forehead, and his transparent mask was covered with a white haze of water. He received the cleaning tools and was assigned to his own oil drum, and then he scrubbed it without a word.

 

Wearing heavy and airtight clothing, but also took out the whole body strength to work in front of the big barrel stained with the greasy black oil. Xu Jiu brushes it a few times, his whole body sweat, like a spring gurgling out, his mask is also because of the water vapour paste that it could not be seen clearly.

 

But the high heat and the exhaustion were all minor problems, what really killed him was the radioactive filth. He didn’t know if it’s a human perception that doesn’t reflect reality, even through the protective suit, Xu Jiu could smell an odd, bitter-sweet fishy odour. Xu Jiu took a deep breath as he reacted, he was fooled by Wu Zhiqiang.

 

“I am really sorry for you, today at noon no.10 came to find me to change shifts. He said… he said he had an urgent matter, and asked me to help him …”

Xu Jiu is very thin, the supervisor is big & tall, fat and has brute force. Xu Jiu did not care about how hard it was on his body, and quickly climbed up with a carp, holding the oil drum with his hands and feet.

 

A few more rolls and he would have brushed for nothing.

The supervisor was dumbfounded, no longer caring about beating Xu Jiu, he hurriedly put his arm down and fawningly jogged all the way over, “Ma’am, ma’am! Please wait, can we see your instruction approval? Where are we going?”

 

The several researchers did not pay him any attention, turning away after informing him. Xu Jiu stared at the ground and froze for a moment before revealing a surprised smile.
